چکیده

On the basis of experimental and practical material it was determined that scratches were formed as a result of sliding of rough surface or sharp point along the body. In case of slight pressing narrow almost linear injuries occur in the form of chains which consist presumably of angle-shaped tears of epidermis with the bases directed to movement side. Considerable pressing results in continuous groove-shaped narrow scratches with projections of rough edges oriented to the beginning of movement.

Impact of substrate surface scratches on the laser damage resistance of multilayer coatings

Substrate scratches can limit the laser resistance of multilayer mirror coatings on high-peak-power laser systems. To date, the mechanism by which substrate surface defects affect the performance of coating layers under high power laser irradiation is not well defined. In this study, we combine experimental approaches with theoretical simulations to delineate the correlation between laser damag...

Rendering Imperfections: Dust, Scratches, Aging,.

In order to incrase the realism of an image or a scene in a computer-graphics application, so-called “imperfections” are often used during rendering. These are techniques which add details like dirt, scratches, dust or aging effects to the models and textures. Realism is improved through imperfections since computer generated models are usually too “perfect” to be accepted as “realistic” by hum...

مطالعه تغییرات مورفولوژیک مینا تحت تأثیر دو ماده Bleaching با استفاده از میکروسکوپ الکترونی

Statement of Problem: Bleaching materials are able to change the surface morphology as well as mineral and organic content of tooth structure. Considering that bleaching is done for aesthetic purpose, awareness of the possible effect of these materials on hard tissue is important, because it may affect the restorative treatments. Purpose: The aim of this study was comparing the effect of two bl...

Surface Enamel Remineralization: Biomimetic Apatite Nanocrystals and Fluoride Ions Different Effects

A new method for altered enamel surface remineralization has been proposed . To this aim carbonate-hydroxyapatite nanocrystals which mimic for composition, structure, nanodimensions, and morphology dentine apatite crystals and resemble closely natural apatite chemical-physical properties have been used The results underline the differences induced by the use of fluoride ions and hydroxyapatite ...

Detection and Restoration of Vertical Non-linear Scratches in Digitized Film Sequences

Vertical scratches are common artifacts in digitized film sequences. Conventional scratch restoration methods assume that vertical scratches are linear and cover the entire height of frame. Little has studied in regard to detecting vertical non-linear scratches and using temporal relation in two consecutive frames. The proposed method makes use of line-shaped templates and projections to detect...
